American Shilajit is humate powder harvested from central New Mexico along the continental divide. It is mineral dense and contains vitamin A, E and the B-vitamins. American Shilajit also contains Humic and Fulvic acids which are the substrates of the soil from which we get our food. It has been pulverized to a size of 600 mesh (22 microns) for better absorption.
Absolutely delicious! Personally, I like them best soaked in water for at least 1 day or more in order to take out some of the salt and also to bring out their juiciness (they rehydrate and get much plumper after being soaked). Wonderful in salads, wraps or straight out of the jar!
These are one of my favorite treats; they have the perfect blend and amount of seasoning. I usually favor raw, unseasoned nuts, but for these cashews I happily make an exception, and I reorder a few bags at a time. I love that, even though they are so delicious, they are also very satisfying, and I am not tempted to go through an entire bag in one sitting lol
